At SJ Dental, we offer both metal braces (made of stainless steel) and Invisalign (clear aligners made of a translucent material). Both types of braces can be used on either teens or adults. Many of us choose to have our teeth straightened to have a more attractive-looking smile. But straighter, well-aligned teeth are also healthier teeth. Crowded, poorly aligned teeth are far more difficult to clean and floss. They can also help to aesthetically improve your facial profile. Metal braces can sometimes be made with clear ceramic brackets so they blend in more naturally with your teeth.
